Lang Toun Cycles is a community bike shop in the heart of Kirkcaldy. We’re located on the High Street, opposite the Kirkcaldy Indoor Market.

We are a social enterprise. This is a different way of doing business, where the profits are invested in helping more people in Kirkcaldy and the surrounding area get into cycling.

We offer cycle servicing and repairs, sales of new and refurbished bikes, parts and accessories. We also have a bike library, provide bike maintenance training and offer volunteering opportunities.

It doesn’t matter if you haven’t cycled for years or cycle every day, we can help you maintain your bike and your interest in cycling. In conjunction with Greener Kirkcaldy, our parent organisation, we offer cycling outreach and training, led rides and workshops to help everyone make the most of their cycling experience.

Our refurbished bikes are selected from recycling centres in Fife. Expert mechanics refurbish the bikes to an excellent standard so they can be resold. Unfortunately we are unable to accept donations of second-hand bikes. If you have an unwanted or unused bike we recommend giving it away online or taking it to your local recycling centre.

Lang Toun Cycles is a Greener Kirkcaldy project.
